What are your soles made out of?
Our soles are made with care and are 100% leather.
Why does the turquoise color come off or transfer from my boot?
Our boots’ soles feature a unique, vibrant turquoise color, applied after manufacturing. It’s natural for the color to wear or transfer slightly with use and exposure to moisture. To preserve their original design, make sure to dry them thoroughly if they get damp. Don’t worry! This fading is simply a sign that your Howdyland boots are filled with stories and adventures.
What are your boots made of?
Each style is unique and may include various materials like metal for studs or zippers, fabric for overlays, and thread for embroidery. However, every boot is handcrafted, and the majority of each boot is made from genuine leather.
Are your boots handmade?
Yes! All of our boots are uniquely handcrafted, and there are over 100 steps involved in creating each pair.
Do you sell children’s styles?
At the moment, we do not offer children’s styles.
Do you make custom boots?
We currently do not offer custom boots.
SIZING AND FIT
Do your boots fit true to size?
Yes, our boots fit true to size. However, we recommend going up half a size for boots with a higher stacked heel. Check out our Boot Fitting Guide to find the perfect size for any style you’re interested in.
What size should I wear?
Since sizing can vary between styles, please refer to our Boot Fitting Guide to find the best fit for your needs.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer sizes ranging from 5 to 9, including half sizes.
CARE AND REPAIR
How do you recommend caring for my boots?
Howdyland boots are an investment, and you’ll want to take good care of them. Visit the Boot Care section in our Explore section for detailed tips on keeping your boots clean and long-lasting.
Can I send my boots in for repair?
All Howdyland boots come with a limited one-year warranty. If you purchased your boots through a retailer, returns and repairs must be handled through the retailer’s return policy. If you bought your boots directly from Howdyland and they are still within the warranty period, please contact our Customer Service Department at support@howdylandshop.com with the style, size, purchase date, a description of the issue, and photos of the boots in need of repair. Submitting a request does not guarantee repair approval, as all requests must go through an evaluation process. If approved, we will contact you with the next steps. We also recommend visiting a local cobbler, who can fix most issues.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
What is your return policy?
Returns and exchanges are 100% free for items in unworn, unwashed, and unused condition (i.e., original tags, unworn, unwashed, no scuffs on the soles of boots) within 30 days of receipt. If you are buying boots, we strongly encourage you to try them on carpet to avoid scratching the outsoles!
Our Return Policy applies exclusively to products purchased directly through howdylandshop.com or Howdyland retail stores. FINAL SALE: SOLD AS-IS; NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES.
How do I return or exchange my order?
To start a return or exchange, simply head to returns.howdylandshop.com and follow the prompts, then mail your package back to us! We’ll send you a notification as soon as your refund has been inspected and processed, or your requested exchange is on its way.
Once Howdyland receives your returned product, we will inspect it and perform a quality check to ensure it meets the conditions stated in our Returns and Exchanges Policy. Following inspection, we will notify you once your refund has been processed or your requested exchange is on its way. If eligible, Howdyland will either refund your original payment method or ship your exchange product.
Returns and exchanges need to be verified and processed by Howdyland’s distribution center. Please allow at least 14 days from the date Howdyland receives your return to process your return or exchange, with additional time allotted for shipping if an exchange is involved. Processing timeframes may vary.
You may choose to return items by using the prepaid shipping label provided when you go to returns.howdylandshop.com and follow the prompts to print your prepaid label and mail your package back to us!
Howdyland is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
How do I get a return label?

Can I bring items I bought online to the store for returns or exchanges?

Can I get my boots shipped internationally?
We ship to the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Please ensure the size and style are correct, as we do not accept returns on international shipments.
The boots I want are on backorder. When will they be available?
Backordered styles typically ship within 2-8 weeks. Approximate availability dates are shown on the product page. Please note that these dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed for backorders.
Are my boots in stock?
Our website will inform you of the stock status as you proceed through the selection process.
